Olive oil makes a nice protectant for leather/leatherette car seats. Clean with soap and water first, dry well, then rub in a bit of olive oil with a terrycloth rag. Don’t use too much, or else the seats will be oily and slippery. Wipe dry with a clean dry rag after the treatment.
